Different agencies, different websites, built to show what we do.

These are demonstrations: whole websites, each for a different kind of agency and designed its own way. The tools inside them work, and the sold prices are HM Land Registry's.

In short
  • Six demonstrations, each a different kind of agency in a different part of the country.
  • Everything works: search, homes for sale, property pages, valuation and viewing requests, all working in demonstration mode.
  • Find the one nearest yours, then picture it with your name, your homes and your patch.

The demonstrations

Each one is a whole website, not a mock-up: open it on your phone, search for a home, ask what a house like yours would sell for, and request a valuation to see what a visitor sees at the end.

Country and period homes · Truro, Cornwall

Oak & Co

An upmarket independent whose buyers often travel to view, and whose sellers want their house shown properly.

  • Restraint: one serif, hairlines and square corners, one thing per screen, slow movement.
  • The home page follows one house through the agency's hands, from the first visit to its own page.
  • Ten full property pages: plans, the energy rating, where the sun falls, what it costs to buy.

Family homes, town and villages · Market Harborough, Leicestershire

Lantern & Lock

A busy independent family agency with homes in a dozen villages, whose sellers want to see it is selling before they book.

  • Its own numbers open the page instead of a landscape: homes for sale, sales agreed, places covered.
  • A valuation booked by finishing one sentence, and a search that reads a sentence too.
  • Every home sorted the way a family thinks, a map of the villages, and real Land Registry prices.

A regional independent, five offices · Gosforth, Tyneside and Northumberland

Wardle & Finch

A middle-market agency with several offices across a wide patch, whose sellers want to know what their home is worth and whose buyers start from a town.

  • The first screen asks one question, where is your home, and the whole patch on a map flies to the answer.
  • Every dot on the map can be pressed: a home sold or for sale, or a place with what homes there really sell for.
  • Five offices side by side, from the reviews to the footer, and a page of its own for every home for sale.

Market town and villages · Ashbourne, Derbyshire

Fearn Hollis

A busy family agency in a market town, whose visitors come to do one thing: find a home, see what theirs could fetch, or ask for a valuation.

  • Tools, not a brochure: finish a sentence to find a home, and every answer opens over the page.
  • What homes like yours sell for, from HM Land Registry's own records for the town and each village.
  • Gingerbread ochre and peat brown, with courses of brick and gritstone stepping down the page.

Flats, terraces and first homes · Bristol BS5

Gert

A young challenger whose buyers are buying their first home and whose sellers are selling their first, and who want a straight answer before they ring.

  • Loud on purpose: one bright yellow, heavy grotesque type, stickers and speech bubbles, plain jokey words.
  • The first screen answers what a terrace or flat in each neighbourhood goes for, from real Land Registry sales, as you change the sentence.
  • The tools up front: a search after the first screen, homes filtered by finishing a sentence, and three tools on a phone's bar.

Prime London townhouses, mansion flats and mews · Chelsea and South Kensington, London

Vane & Lisle

A small prime boutique whose sellers want their house shown privately first, and whose buyers are shown round by a partner, by appointment.

  • A dark gallery after hours: one Didone typeface, hairline frames, and the price written small in each house's label.
  • The home page holds still while its eight houses pass one at a time, each with its tenure, lease and charges.
  • One bright room: HM Land Registry's record of what sold in SW3 and SW7, real figures with their dates.

What every demonstration shows

  • Bespoke design on proven tools. Each look is written for one agency; the search, booking, price answer and property page are ours, tested on every site we build.
  • Property pages from your feed. The pages read homes in the same shape our feed hub sends for a live client, so nothing about them is a mock-up.
  • Real data, with its source. Price answers come from HM Land Registry sales and say so, with dates and the licence; a range is never presented as a valuation.
  • Fast on an ordinary phone. Every build is checked with the processor slowed six times, at seven screen sizes, before anyone sees it.
  • Forms that say what happens next. Each request ends by setting out the next steps; on a demonstration it also says plainly that nothing was sent.

Questions

Can we have one of these designs for our agency?

Not as it stands, and that is the point. A bespoke site is designed for one agency from its own brand, stock, patch and people, so yours would look like yours. The demonstrations show the range, the standard and the functions; your design would start from you.

Where would our listings come from?

From your CRM, through our feed hub. The property pages in the demonstrations read their homes in the same shape the hub sends for a live client, so the same pages work on your stock.

Do the forms on the demonstrations send anything?

No. Every request ends on a screen that says it is a demonstration and that nothing was sent or booked. On a client's site the same forms reach the agency, which then confirms a time with the visitor.
